Hillclimb in general has always seemed to be the 'purest' form of racing from my perspective; it challenges the vehicle and driver only, and gives a true indication for a team's abilities.

Watching this thing move like a sports car is oddly satisfying. Lets see a DT466 do that...

Most of these trucks are 13L engines (or right around there) and the DT466 is only a 7.6L.

There's a lot of custom 4 X 4s in my neck of the woods, it's a good thing not to be behind them when they give it some stomp. Can't see anything for all the black stinky smoke they leave behind.

I have a new goal for spring.

The way i can cram a 13/18 speed id be a shoe in. Id have to learn the euro stuff though....isnt their big truck boxes syncro like our car trannys?

@ PetroleumJunkie412 try to schedule a job near Bowling Green, Ohio in late August. they have the National Tractor Pulls then.
you can see the soot plumes from 10 miles.
