i have been working on my b2 and found a crack in the block, and i don't have the money to do a 302 swap or get a new block, so I'm parting to out then scraping it  some day il get another

Man, I'm sorry to hear it..I hate to hear about anything going to the JY..especially a Bronco II.

If you have the time, why not put in a junkyard motor? It's cheaper than a new car and you know the truck top to bottom. Even so..What about just buying another Bronco?

Nooooooo, don't scrap it!!!!! What shape is it in other than the block and would you consider selling the whole truck? Got any pics?

personally, unless you NEED the money now...don't scrap it. build it slowly while driving the f150. buy a 4.0/md05/8.8/d35.. build it slowly. junkyard builds can be cheap.

To bad your so far away, I'm in the process of pulling a 2.9 out of a 90, it has issues, but a good block. You'd be welcome to it, just haul it away, it does run. Or else it just gets stashed, tripped over and moved around. I just got way to much crap that I've been hanging on to.

i only had 200$ into my 4.0 b2 all you really need is a running engine n wiring harness from the right year explorer or ranger and its a project you can accomplish in 4-5 days workin at it yourself or a weekend with some buddies

4.0 engines and parts are a lot easier to find then 2.9 stuff

its not really that bad

i did it instead of putting another 2.9 in my b2 i had way too many problems with the 2.9 even after completely rebuilding it

just a lil motivation

just dont send it to the crusher

Wise words right here.

Same deal here. I have a stripped block on the stand right now.

they all sound like good ideas, but i need the money at the moment, if anyone needs any parts PM me

I just realized you're in OB. I live in walls. I'm not to far out. I wish I still had my 2.9 I'd donate it to the cause if I did. Wish I could be more help since I'm so close.

What would you want for the b2? As it sits. What's the specs on it? Myself or a buddy might be interested.

What color is the interior? Does it have the overhead 4x4 console?

Have you thought junkyard motor? Pull a part up on farrisview should have some motors maybe...

its a 84 auto, blue interior and its a floor shift 4x4

i might need a couple interior pieces...and the shifter setup if its an auto w/ manual t/case. i eventually wanna find a 1354m setup. what part of OB are you in?

i'd much rather see you keep it and fix it... but if it does come down to you scrapping it i'd like to look at it and talk about some parts/entire thing.
