Does the master clutch cylinder out of my 88 B2 plug right in to a 94 exploder 5 speed tranny?

Seriously?? Anyone?
I had to unplug the clutch hose when I took out the old engine and tranny with the quick disconnect.
will it plug into the 94's tranny? Or do i have to replace the master cylinder or just the hose or what??

well i dont see why it would have been changed and AFAIK, theres only one tool for disconnecting them so i would venture a guess and say yes.

If you have the parts on hand, you could always compare visually, and maybe see if they plug in...

i checked out the parts site an a clutch master looks TOTALLY different for both trucks.. but you might be able to get it to work.. ive got a 95 4.0 an when i went to replace the clutch master i bought a 4.0 one.. well it wasnt the right one go figure.. it takes a 3.0 clutch master..

the master/slave changed in '92 sometime, the hydraulic line from an older might plug into a newer master, but the quick disconnect most likely changed, there are a lot of visual differences between the new and old units

you can put an older slave on a newer tranny and use the old hydraulics though, I think the slave's are all the same, so just unbolt the old one and put it in the new tranny...
