So after finally deciding to go to college in fairbanks i needed a new vehical. My 84 is just not gonna agree with the -40 degree weather. Now I have a 1999 Ranger as my DD. Its a Blue 99 4x4 4 door with the stepside bed. Its got a 3.0l v6 and a 5 spd. 3.73 (non limited slip :annoyed:) gears. Its Blue with 86,xxx miles on the clock. I love it!!!!!!!!!!! I swapped on my 31's and it seems just fine. I'll get pics on soon.

Got pics!

the two beast together!

Truck looks like a nice one. Have fun at UAF. Thats where my sister went to college and she ended up staying in Fairbanks:icon_twisted:.

Yeah its such a nice truck. Thanks guys:icon_thumby:

I have no desire to stay in fairbanks btw, lol i want to do the foriegn exchange program to germany or something. :icon_twisted:

And i just gave it a small tune up today. new plugs wires and a fuel filter.
I was surprised to find that none of the things looked like they have ever been replaced. I hope to see great improvements on my mileage. the plugs were gapped at .080 and the filter was pretty clogged.

Good lookin truck man! Thumbs up for that find of yours!

Holy crap on the gap batman! How much did you pay for the truck?

I got it for 5,000$. Seemed like a pretty good deal, i have went over everything and checked everything else and its all in great working order they just neglected to check the plugs or filter... oil was changed very regularly ect ect. Even with that gap i was stil getting 20mpg! :icon_surprised:

5k was a steal. I paid $3150 with 174k miles and I had to do head gaskets on it.

Looks like it's got a block heater on it was it a factory option?

It has a pan heater and a battery blanket, i need to ad a coolent heater for the -40 in fairbanks though. :D

Yeah, it was the best deal ever, rust free and runs perfect. its even got a anti rust underliner over the frame and stuff!

Where di you get the rims and tires?
