Well I have spare time and its too cold to work on my BII and I'm too broke to spend extra cash on it lol. So, I started a model car project to keep me busy. check it out! Ill update the progress lol. It comes completely unpainted.

I got the frame put together, suspension, steering link, and sway bar installed, and painted it

Here is the engine put together and painted. Its about the size of a nickle with about 20 parts glued together

So what truck has a four corner leaf suspension, a V-6 engine, a transfer case on the passenger side, and a rear gas tank?

I use to do model cars when I was little. My first model was a Chevy S-10. I picked the S-10 to remind my mom how much she hated the S-10 at work. Because the S-10 had no A/C.

I don't know fellas? I'm thinking it gonna need a Mega Squirt system to run right...

Glad to see you're still lurking!

This thread inspired me to poke around in my model collection again. Looks like I have a 93 F-150 kit with a 351 engine to finish building. Although I've been toying with the idea of kitbashing and adding some big slicks on the back...

So I went kit bashing as well and found an edlebrock carb and filter off a 1970 chevy stepside ha. this is oddly fun. I don't know how the wireing will work, I think I'll keep it carbed :P

Didn't some old Chevy V-8s have siamesed ports like the 2.8?

Has a PS drop t-case, which also points to chevy.

Also, its already carbed, so he won't have to worry about emissions BS.
