Got a problem and I know somebody on here can point me into the right direction. I got to tow a 6x8 utility trailer 35 miles yesterday to my house so we can put tables and chairs on it for a wedding. Anyways on the way to my house the roads I drive on are a little on the hilly side. When I go more than 1/4 throttle my truck starts to overheat. But, the only way for my 4 cylinder to get up hills is to go about 1/2 throttle on the upside of hills. I tried getting some speed on the downside of the hills but no luck with that one.
My question is, is there some way to control the heat? Or should I put more Horsepower on the truck to get it up the hills?
