I have a 2010 FX4 4.0L, manual trans,Rancho RS5000 front and rear(the ones for torsion key lifts made huge difference), Leveling kit, with 2" blocks in the rear and T-bar crank to match the rear(total of 4" in the front and 2" in the rear), 31 spline axles with 8.8 4.10's rear diff.Magna flow exhaust and k&n intake. Now first question for you seasoned ranger owners full of wisdom what kind of front diff/axles do i have and what kind of transfercase do i have? I cant find any codes from the site charts to match:icon_confused:. Second question im putting a 3" body lift on in two weeks so i can put my 16x8 pro comp rock crawlers with 34"x10.5 interco ssr's on now with that i wana get rid of the waste of metal open diff for a rear locker what is my best option i was looking at the lock right because of its easy intall and price with good feed back and dont wana go with a housing swap with the detroit locker any help would be sweet ass thanks :icon_cheers:

Front differential is a Dana 35 Standard Rotation.

The transfer case is a BorgWarner 1354 E

for the rear it probably is a torsion limited slip or plain limited slip so if you want to put a locker in you will need to get an open housing for the locker and just reuse the ring and pinion. That locker with just replace the spider gears.

not to turn down your opinion but i was told i have an open rear diff by others and they used the traction control instead, The 2011 FX4 comes with the L.S. witch leads to the next problem will a locker work with the traction control? or would it be wise to just put the ford trac lock and the traction control would be helpful in tricking it to lock(kinda like ridding the brakes)So many ways what will work best any one out there done this to a 2010 ranger yet:icon_confused:
Next if i have the dana 35 in the front does that mean 27 spline axles?:icon_cheers:
