I have a 1987 bII that I have had for awhile. To make a long story short I had 2 BII's (both 2.9's). Now my BII is sitting in my barn with no engine or wiring harness. I have a 302 out of a carb'd crown vic, a standard tranny and transfer case from a manual f150 (around 1984) as well as axles (front and rear) from an explorer. I want to make this thing into a plow truck (no emissions worries) and I am wanting to know if I can do it relatively easily without pulling my hair out. I only have about $400 into everything and want to do it as cheap as possible. I have followed this site for awhile and I hope to be able to do this and be proud of my work. All your input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah that stuff will work fine. If you want to do it cheap you need to take your time and look for deals on the rest of the parts like a radiator, filter relocation kit and the other small odds and ends. You have the major stuff covered. Good chance the F-150 t-case isn't going to fit too well, most likely you will have a BW1356. Get a NP 205 or 208 and it will work a little better.
