Just got a 94 Ranger last week as a car for the winter and wheeling and I want to lift it 4 inches. The problem is I don't really know what I need to buy. I know I need to buy a kit and then wheels/tires and a new gear set. However I was wondering if anyone knew of a site or something that tells people what they need to buy when looking into buying a lift kit? Thanks in advance =)

Heh...

Hello! (<< a typical greeting if you're wondering) Welcome to TRS.

#1, it's a truck, not a car. There are massive differences anywhere you look. If you want anyone to pay much attention, you need to at least research your terminology.
#2, you're on the site with all the help you need.
#3, look around a little bit for the info you need before post.. browse, read, learn, and use the search function to find what you need. Virtually every type of lift has been done and documented in this site in one place or another.

Once you do the research, and are ready to start on what you've decided to install, your questions will be more to the point and people can provide assistance.

Nobody can plan your build out for you. Only you know what is in your head and budget.
