I couldn't think of a better title. But I want to know any good on-line parts store for those odd-ball end of parts for different makes and models. LMCTruck.com is a good source that I have already looked through. Has most of the Ranger parts that I want, but almost none of the Blazer's parts that I need.

If it helps, this is what I'm looking for.
1996 Chevy Blazer 4x4 4.3L 4dr LT:
1. Dashboard speaker covers (black, graphite) x2
2. Rear seat fold down latch and cable

Yes, I know its not a Ford. But it is my mom's vehicle and we have owned it since new. It is well taken care of and in good working order with 150K miles on the odometer.

I remembered the word that I wanted for the title, "Restore".

Rockauto.com did have a good selection. But not the ones that I need. I am keeping the page as one my favorites since it is a good site.

Forgot this, before anyone asks. I have already checked the junkyards and dealership for the speaker covers. For some reason, graphite is not a very popular color. Also, only certains years work since GM redsigned the dash in 97. And the dealership no longer carries them since the vehicle (& design) is obsolete.

oo i know a good one... let me look around again and try to find it.

:annoyed:, how can anyone not sell those speaker covers. Almost every Blazer that I see has them busted, so I would think some company would make some. I guess I will stop by the GM dealer and have a friendly chat with their part's guys.

Try Your Local Gm Dealer. I Work For One And If You Give Me The Last 8 Digits Of The Vin I Would Gladly Look Up The Parts You Need And Tell You How Much They Would Cost And Give You An Idea How Long To Get Them.

Wow...less caps, lol. Hard to read. :icon_rofl:

Tried LMCTruck.com. They have the picture of it, but no number.

Painting parts is not a good thing here. Inside of vehicles can reach in excess of 140*F when not shaded or vented.

Kinda of the reason why the speaker covers break. They are cooked to the point of being brittle. The latch handle was because my mother was forceing it and broke it.

For the speaker covers, try www.crutchfield.com it won't be stock, but you might be able to get a few grilles to go over your old broken ones that will at least make it look better. Might even get better speakers to go with those grilles :P

as for the seat latch, try fleabay...

Gotta be OE type covers. As for speakers, they are Bose. So why mess with something when it sounds so good.

I might try Monday to go find them again. Maybe expand my search out more to other junkyards.

sorry i was busy all weekend i will look that stuff up at work tomorrow and get back to you. have a good night
