Go to http://www.schoenfeldheaders.com/fordpinto.htm and look at the under chassis header, fits fine on a ranger, all you have to do is add a o2 bung.you will lose a little bottom end,but more than make up for it on the top.$150.We use the thur the firewall one on our race truck and pickup 13 hp over the stock one.
Have you mounted one of the under the chassis headers on a ranger before? Obviously the flange at the head will work, but I'm curious if it will clear the trans and framerail alright?
I have the pacesetter header thats cracked in half now, but it fits perfectly between the transmission and frame rail on my 99 ranger.....the pacesetter comes down and the lower flange sits parralel with the frame, the schoenfeld looks like the flange is almost straight up and down, which would mean I'd have to make a new exhaust....but that may be worth it....?
