1) I leak oil. Judging by how high this stuff is, I'm guessing valve cover gaskets?

2) My windshield wiper fluid doesn't come out. I replaced the pump in the reservoir, but it still doesn't work. I'm thinking this is an electrical problem now. Does anybody know where this wire goes? I lose it after it goes behind the reservoir and I don't feel like taking the whole reservoir out.

3) The + terminal is corroded to hell. The terminal itself is seemingly fused with the wires inside. What is the best way to replace this terminal?

Thanks!

Go to oreilly's and buy 2 or 4 gauge wire, whatever length you need for whatever application you need, for each terminal. For that windshield wiper wire looks like your gonna have to take it out and trace it down the line, only way to know for sure. Also get some engine degreaser and spray down the gunk and see if you can see if there really is a leak or if it's just build up.
Good luck

Oil leak looks like the valve covers since it goes past where the heads meet the block. If it's on the sides too (like my good ol 2.9) then it definitely is. I would clean it up, run it, and see what has leaked. The wind of the fan can blow the oil around too btw.

The washer fluid issue does sound like it's electrical. I'd start checking it for power. I think theres a fuse but I might be wrong.

The easiest way to change that battery cable is to just buy a whole new cable that mimics the one you are looking to replace. The other option would be to cut it and just get a terminal. That always opens up the possibility of a loose terminal though...I'd just get a new cable.

Hrmm...does anybody know off hand what fuse # operates the washer on an 89 Ranger?
