Well on Saturday, coming up I'm planning on going to get some of my parts, now i have a 4'' rough country lift kit, and im picking up a rancho drop pitman arm, to accomodate for the lift, i am getting shocks as well and some wheels, if some one could help me out here, if i add the 2'' coild spacers from the 90' f-150 wiill i need shocks for 6'' of lift now instead of a 4''? or shouldi go with a shock made for a 5''? the rear i plan on lifteg about 4'' via shackles and leafs, and plan on getting shocks made for 4'' of lift in the rear, if someone could answer this that would be a great help.

Last question is im picking up some 16x8 wheels and i plan to run some 33x12.50s on them, is a 4,5'' offset good or should i go different?

Thanks in advance guys the help would be appreciated!

If you put in the spacers with the 4" coils, the 6" lift shocks should work just fine for you. If you are going to be running around 6" of lift, i'd be leaning towards getting the skyjacker extreme drop pitman arm for the best steering angles.

If you get 8" wide rims i'd go with 3.75" backspacing, it'll be easier on the wheel bearings in the long run.

thanks for the info, ill be holding off now, as i did plan to get the wheels this week however i ended up finding a good deal today and i am suppose to be going to pick up some tires tomorrow they have 98% tread life, one trail ride on them basicly, BFG M/T's and they are 305/70/R16 there suppose to be on hold till tomorrow, and i am scooping them for 6 bills,

jist curious if i would be better off with an 8'' rim or 10'' rim, what would be the advantages and disadvantages, sorry for all the questions, just trying to end up with a good setup!

Note the 10'' rims im looking at come with a 4.5'' backsapce as well same with the 8'' rims, will i have any rubbing issues with 10's vs 8's and will 10's be too wide and goofy looking or give it a nice stance with my setup

I would go with the 8" rims. They will hold the bead better when aired down for offroad use. Try to find something closer to 3.75"-4" backspace with the 8s.
