Hi I Have a 92 Ranger with the 4.0 in it. It has A/C but the belt has bean replaced with a shorter one that bypasses the A/C compressor, the clutch on that rubs on it self when I turn it by hand. Does some one make just the clutch for the A/C or do I have to replace the whole compressor?

sorry I posted this in the wrong section. I don't know how to remove it

You can replace the clutch alone, but make SURE the compressor is good. Try turning the hub (center part) by hand. If it's rough or binding, the compressor is bad.

I moved it for you. AFAIK, there isn't any way for ordinary users to do so.
