Well, sniper is almost finished. its getting a whole new Rear-end out of a newer ford ranger that was wrecked. it also has the cherry bomb on it now. and is getting these bad boys monday hopefully..

I think $350 is a good deal for them no?

Also, where is a good place to get wheel spacers for the front of my truck?.. I'm going for the "wannabe" pre-runner look until i can afford a actual kit.. lol..

Well, i just ordered in some 235/75/15 Cooper discoverer SST's Should be in on thursday. $460, Also got the new rear-end in. been driving it steady the past couple of days. but the shop went and absolutely DESTROYED my clutch, theres hardly anything left to it! plus theres aLOT of play in the clutch pedal... mabey theres air in the line?.... Also, i'm asking for a roof rack for christmas XP

Well if you gut the cats, and put a glasspack on it, your 2.3 will sound dead exact to a subaru rally car I know this cause my dads 2.3 ranger has that set up. [I like it he doesent lol]

They're cheap to. mine from canadian tire cost me $49.95 with tax. You could probually get it cheaper somewhere else.

Well, sniper is going to the shop again.. yay.. I'm really starting to not like him.. He's been mean to me ever since i got him back :C Really wish i had some of that "insperation" lol .. But trying to make a wanna-be prerunner with no money is hard.

Found out what the problem was. Old owner put in the wrong spark plugs?... Truck wasnt getting enough spark to ignite the fuel. Oh well should be done tomoro. Hopefully getting Some 31" Cooper Discoverer MT's for X-mas also gunna take the rear bumper off when i get sniper back. Been kinda bugging me.. i dont like chrome!..lol

Well, sniper is still in the shop.. and i recently found out.. from my uncle the guy charges $20 a day for keeping my truck there! and the guy NEVER SAID A WORD.. so if this is true... I'm allready at $340! And we found out the other sensor i got, to replace the bad one was the wrong one again.. well theres only one left.. so that must be it.. What is the average price to replace a coolant temp sensor, and a idle air control valve?... both seem like very easy jobs.. cant be over $200 can it?... I'm going to his house tomoro when i get home from halifax and taking it home to fix it myself. im tired of this F***ing bull s**t... 2 weeks its been there and he's repaced a fuse and the idle air control valve... and i may be selling sniper soon. I'm loosing faith in him, and he's just too expensive to feed the 4.0L... I'm going to find the guy's number that wanted to buy my truck for $4,000 and tell him $4,500 he can have it. then its off to halifax to pick up this little number...

I know i've said this alot, but I'm going to really try hard to get this one.. its not on the market, and he said he'll keep it until i can get up the money to buy it.. I can make $640 over the christmas break, then another 4,000-4,500 by selling sniper.. the truck im looking at is a 88, 2.3 North carolina truck. no rust what so ever. its in even better condition than my truck! all it needs is some paint.. nothing a little bit of spray paint wont fix lol... He wants $2,500 and is firm on it though :/ and 1st gens are getting really scarce around cape breton... eispecially ones in this good of condition.. Wish me luck in my 1st gen journey for.. Sniper 2!

Hey guys i finally got sniper back. Runs amazing, still need new tires... and i had to take my grille out due to some idiot backing into me i guess... went into tim hortons to get me coffee, came out and half of it was in peices on the ground... so i went and took it out completely, until i can find a repacement. and i also took out my radio so i can replace it with my new one im getting tomoro. I'll post pics later

Hey guys i got a quick question. I've been looking at two trucks for body parts.. one is a 2001, 3.0 auto 2wd. ext cab. Full of body fill... but has nice euro tail lights and a big push bar... Shown here;

Or I can get a 94 2wd stepside with a half decent body and a bad frame for $350...

I kind of want to get the 94 since i like that front end better and really want a stepside for my truck.. plus its literally just down the road from me.. where as the 01 is about.. a hour away Opinions?

I would get the 2001 because it has more parts you can take off of it, like the grille guard, tail lights, seats, a new grille (that sucks that happened) and you wouldn't have to worry about it not fitting. All you would have to do with the body filler is sand it even with everything and paint over it. And if you don't want the cab extender, I want it!

Hm, but my father kind of wants me to get the 94, so he can have the left over for his 94... I may shoot for the 94 since it seems to be in better condition.. and since my father knows the guy who has it very well and may be able to get me it or the parts i want off it for next to nothing :X and I wont have much to spend tomoro, since im buying tires. [finally]
