I'm puting a ford 9inch and a HP dana 44 from my 79 bronco under my 99 ranger but I want a steering box that mounts to the inside of the frame rails. any suggestions on a steering box. One out of an older ranger or explorer maybe?

Mine was from a 1988 toyota ifs pickup. Need to plate and sleeve the frame and for the hoses u used the ranger power hose ,cut it put a #6 JIC fiiting on at a hose shop and got the matching adapter for the box.

Thanks bud. I was thanking toyota box. Don't they mount to the outside though? do you have the 4.0 in that thing. what did you do about the ABS disconnect it? Nice truck by the way.

thank,I got the 3.0, when it goes a 5.0 will be going in. I totally took all the abs out. Will be running the lines straight from the master.

does your speedometer work? I was told that it runs off the rear abs sensor.
