99 ranger, can the hub wear out?

Hello Everyone,

So I having an issue with the 4 wheel drive on my 99. I was checking the hubs, vacuum lines, etc. and turns out the right side engages when in 4x4, but left one doesn't. I couldn't find any issue with the vacuum lines, seals, etc. and the 4x4 work last month.

Is possible the hub is just wore out or stuck?

Well If you have the time i would take a look at this. Its a little go though everything a wrote up that might help. It could just need some lubing it might be a very small leak or plugged line.
