Stumped here on my install. My notes say this bracket goes on top left bolt of the transmission to engine bolts.
Problem is, is top left is not entirely definitive and does the bracket point toward front or back.
bracket us 90 degree bend about 3-4 inches long and 1.5ish inches across.
can't find any pics. Where does it go?

Probably a 4R44E trans

What engine do you have?

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you have the torque converter slid all the way into the front pump on the trans.
You place it on the input shaft then push it in while turning it, you should hear/feel 3 or 4 "clicks" as the torque converter slides into and locks into the front pump tabs.

If you don't do this, or don't do it right, you WILL need a full trans rebuild.
