99 Ranger 302 swap

Yeah I'm new to the site. I recently aquired a 99 Ranger with the motor and transmission already pulled. It came with a 302 and I'm just curious about a drive shaft I'm going to try and use an AOD. and am I going to have to make motor mounts? Original engine was a 2.5 The 5.0 is gonna be carbed. Thanks.

As far as motor mounts go I'd say grab them from a 96-01 5.0 explorer they will bolt right into the ranger chassis. You can build your own if you want to though. Not sure what state you're located in but make sure with the inspection and emissions laws you'll be able to run that carb. Here in PA that would never pass inspection. Hope that helps a little.
