99 Ranger 3.0L Intake

On the intake manifold of my 99 Ranger, the heater hose that runs into the intake has cracked (the hard line). Does anyone know if I have to replace the entire intake ( and if I do, is it the upper or lower) or can I replace just the hard line?

The small hose on the upper intake? A lot of people simply bypass it. I run a 99 intake on my 93 and I do not have the line hooked up. I'd just vote on bypassing and not messing with it.
