99 ranger 2.5 v8 swap

dude.....really.

look at the other spots that are plugged.

what i meant, was to flip the connector over and look at it from the pin/box side.

38 is ommited....
if you open that hole...you will then have a space for pin 38.

the connector itself is broken, or the numbers would be present.

28-33 are on the row next to it.

28,29,32,33 are also ommitted....and 27 in the row above that.....clearly.

CLEARLY.

of course....you could just be fawking with us. must be.

otherwise...
how the fawk you managed to pull off the last swap is now a mystery as well.
you are the case of the broken clock....

you did a lego swap. congratulations. you did the easiest swap possible that takes the least amount of ability in regards to wiring and fitup. something that takes me hours....not days to do.

if you were swapping this into a gen 1 you would find that is not so easy.

there was no internet with bulletin boards when i started doing this.

again..

look at an unbroken 42 pin connector.

pin 38 is ommited.

you have a map of the wire codes and circuits that is clear posted in this thread.

there is zero doubt about that.

as to my sorry ass...
from 1989 to 2005 i did 3 to 10 swaps per year. mostly rangers.

big blocks...small blocks...diesels....ford, gm and chrysler swaps into the rbv platform.

since 2005 i slowed down...but have built many harnesses for others to swap engines.

..... because outside of the gen 3 trucks...they dont plug and play with factory componants..

of course....some people are just lucky.

and then think they are right.
