Thats the 99 2.5 ranger chassis side of the 42 pin plugcould be a secondary tie in signal return or power out....
on 150s and e series it varies...usually gem related power ...powerstroke i had was black and a return for ipr. my diagram from helm said it was empty. so that is a mystery
i would ohm it out and identify it. i assume its on the explorer?
there are power and ground hardware scenario variance..
i would follow it out....probably something with ac or climate control or gem power for it.
No...its 38. Ac? Ac has is own plug down below the brake boosteractually.......
look carefully....it is the ac...and it is pin 37 not 38.
38 is completely omitted and solid....not drilled.
that picture posted....it is CLEARLY 37. on a 42 pin there are 9 wires down each end bank. 36 is the o2 sensor....and 37 is ac....and purple. and. that is what the picture shows.No...its 38. Ac? Ac has is own plug down below the brake booster
Work right for what?pop the little plug out and move it over....then it will be 38.
but it aint gonna work right either.
Are you blind? Or am I?that picture posted....it is CLEARLY 37. on a 42 pin there are 9 wires down each end bank. 36 is the o2 sensor....and 37 is ac....and purple. and. that is what the picture shows.
