99 no 4x4

Like the title says, my 99 ranger has no 4x4, the t-case is switching to 4h and low, the front drive shaft is spinning and (since i have an open diff) the right axle is also spinning, but the right front tire isn't. On the other side, if u spin the tire, it spins the axle. So i have no clue where to start to fix this one before i get a locker installed haha.

Sounds like a case of bad pulse vaccum (PV) hubs.

So the Avm manual locking helps will get rid of the crappy pulse vaccum hub locks on my 1999? So far ive read many good things about them and may go this route lol

If i were to run the Avm locking hubs, would i be able to run a spool in the front diff with no adverse effects for turning and what not while the hubs are in the "free" position? Just seeing what my options are right now to get rid of my open diffs.
