Hey everyone, brand new to actually posting something on here but I could really use some advice. I have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 5spd 4x4 with 243XXX, daily driven. The other day I went to start the truck and it just cranks. Fuel pump primes fuel pressure is 50psi at the schrader, finally the culprit: no spark. Plugs and wires were done at 210k, I checked the resistances on the coil pack those were within spec as well as the wires and plugs. Im getting 12v power from the red wire in the pigtail for the coil pack and from what I can tell it seems to get a pulsing voltage from the 3 white wires. What am I missing? I read somewhere that the crank sensor failing could cause symptoms like this but how do I know for sure? Already tried a brand new coil pack and that didn't resolve the issue.
Thankyou in advance for anyone's input, I've been doing everything but mounting tires on this truck since I turned 16 and I'd hate to be stumped now (5 years later)
