On to the build stuff.

First things first...the new winch bumper. I ordered it from James at RLC Welding in Louisville, KY. Thanks a bunch James, it looks amazing!

Here it is just after I signed for it....it's smiling at me! lol

Right on man. The pic where you said (X in the background, I didn't see any woman)

Love the bumper! That's F-ing awesome, I want one.

awesome bumper, think i'm going similar to that design when i build mine..

I'm scared to think about what you paid for that. Am I wrong?

nice nice im thinking about getting the same one. how heavy do you think it is? and the front reciever hitch, i didnt see a hole for the lock pin is it in the back?

LOL!! You have the same first name as me.

It weighs about 65lbs....at least, that's what it said on the shipping papers.

And the hole for the hitch is indeed in the back.

what clifford? lol:icon_rofl: no no thats my truck's name! hahaha but thats good to know its in the back. what kind of winch are you putting on it?

lol....figures. As i hit the "post" button i thought about that.

I'm thinking about either the Smittybilt XRC8 or this: http://www.warn.com/truck/winches/src/tabor_9k.shtml

Thing is, I have a heavy duty bush bar that's going to be installed on the front..so i don't think i'll have room for roller fairleads....so i was thinking about going with the "roller-less" deal that superwinch has. Superwinch has one that i'd really love, but i'm not shelling out $1200 for a winch just yet.

i see.. i like the smittybuilt one, was thinking about it myselft but i didnt have a place to mount it. and i would like a stinger style front end, at first i didnt like them, but they grew on me. CUSTOM FAIRLEAD!!!

That rollerless fairlead is likely for synthetic line. Bumper looks sweet though!

warn wants $700+ for that winch, the smittybilt xrc8COMPSERIES is almost HALF of that, and it comes with synth rope and a flat aluminum fairlead, non roller.:D juss so u kno EB xploder! lol!

UPDATE!

Had the bumper and bush bar sandblasted yesterday. They're sitting at the backyard body shop now. Going to be pulling the factory bumper off either tomorrow(Friday) or some time this weekend. :icon_bounceblue:
