will a 99 3.0 ffv vin code v with prod date later than 7/26/99 swap for a 3.0 ffv vin v before 7/26/99 will anthing have to b changed ?please help cant find exact match

Should be fine. There are minor differences within the engine, such as valve stem size, and beehive style valve springs on the newer engine, but it should work.

thx thats about wat i figured w/ the research ive done, im stuck with an 02 3.0 with u code im hoping i can just change the manifolds is there anything else i should b aware of?

What manifolds are you planning on changing, and why?

I was planning on putting my original upper n lower manifolds,n fuel injectors from my 99 flex fuel motor,which is blown to a 02 3.0 gas motor in worried about wat else I would have to change I , I'm trying to use as much of the original as possible I'm curious if I'm going to have any computer or timing problems
