It cant be as easy as it looks... But how hard is it to take a 98 mountineer v8 AWD driveline and drop it into a 94 ranger 4x4? Are rad supports and motor mounts different?

You're not describing a "98+" swap, as a 302 is a 302, regardless of year.

But read this
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/5_0_swap_in_newer_ranger.html

And the rest of this section of the site, and you'll figure it out.

Hint: leave your stock rad where it is if you use that motor, and you will want fox-body Mustang motor mounts, the Mountaineer ones won't work for you.

Dude you confused me?

I want to take a 98 ex cab 4x4 and a 98 mountaineer v8, but with a e7 bottom end, and drop it like its hot in the ranger. With some of them there confounded camburg 5.5" fenders and bed sides, 33's and 4.56 gears.

I had a 93 splash with a EFI 5.0 GT40/GT40p's and a E cam, AOD/E1354 and a duff lift on 33's

I now have a 93 ex cab xlt 4.slow with 35x14 Groundhawgs on it, I want to sell it now, cause I'm sold on the idea of a 400 horse AWD pre runner style ranger with heated leather seats. :icon_hornsup:
