Ok so I went mild wheeling today. Only took a few pics though.
Like most pictures, none of them do justice. This pic is one of them. About where the door handle is where the top of my head was and I'm 6 foot. It was a little difficult to get back in lol

Ok in this pic I was tryin to flex out but thats as far as I could get, because my 4x4 doesn't work like every other 98-00 Ranger. In this pic, the door handle is about where my shoulder was and on flat its a little above my hips.

The picture of the cute dog sitting in the drivers seat....is your windshield cracked?? That is so unsafe!!!! Truck looks better now.

Yup its cracked. I need to fix it before i get a ticket. But the worst part is on the passenger side and i don't even notice it. And thanks!

I just finished taking off my flares today. I think it looks 10 times better than those non matching grey ones! Pictures of course. (Sorry for crappy cell pics)

I'm going to weld the holes closed and paint where the fender was cuz that line around the fender is like a scratch almost. Do you guys think I Should do like a dark blue or black?

I didn't wanna mess with the textured plastic and I hated the mudflap so I just decided to take them off.

It wouldn't really take a terrible amount of work to body match them. Use a good high-build primer, you can buy they rustoleum filler primer in a spray can, then sand them smooth and get some duplicolor perfect match and some clear coat. If you have more time than you do money (like me), it would look pretty sweet.

That sounds safer than welding them closed. If I bought the same color wouldn't it not match just from the sun and weather? Or would it not be that much different.

Thats a nice truck. Blue and black is the color scheme I eventually want to go with on my truck.

Welding up the holes would be a ton of work. and you'd have to paint the whole fender. The paint would probably match pretty well I would think. If not, wash and wax your truck and it'll help get rid of any oxidation. Lucky for you, blue is the pigment that resists fading the most.

Ya i was thinking that cuz you'd have to grind down your welds and it would be hard to get it flush with the fender and you wouldn't even really tell until you paint it and have it look funny. It would probably be easy to warp that sheet metal too from the heat. I did not know blue resists fading the most, that's cool. Thanks for your help man.
