I have a 98 ranger with a 2.5l manual trans. I want to put a 5.0 down in her i want to make sure my idea will work. the motor will be coming out of a 91 t-bird. Its just im not for sure what all ill have to change. I know the tranny will have to change i was wanting to go with the t-5 seems to be the best choice and possible the rearend. Im just more concerned with the engine bay and what all ill have to change in that area. I would appreciate any help

Don't worry about the rearend, it'll be fine for now. Good choice on the motor, it's got the shorter FEAD to help fit a radiator.

So the motor will fit good. Thanks for the info. Anybody know any problems ill run into. Just trying to get as much info as possible before i start.

Read thru the "stickies" at the top of the forum page. And then if you have specific questions, ask away.
