hi guys, I'm pretty new to this forum. first my truck is a 98 xlt, 2.5L with a 5 speed. Its bone stock and recently its been having some weird issues, first on first start ups it barely idles, i have to keep giving it gas or else it stalls, then for a while it only idles at 400-600 RPMs, until it is warmed up.

the next issue is sometimes on start ups it revs to 2000 RPMs and sits there, then driving when i push the clutch in to shift the RPMs go up 700 to 1000 RPMs before dropping after the shift. then while coasting-in neutral- the RPMs stay at 2000 and up sometimes reaching 3000 RPMs until i come to a complete stop, then after going again they revert back to 2000+ RPMs, any ideas of where to start would great, thanks!

check your tranny pan gasket tranny filter, or check tranny fluid
