98' Ranger 3.0 2wd I have looked at all the cam sensor/shaft postings and it sounds a little like my problem but not sure. My issue is when the engine is cold under acceleration below 2000rpms i have a slight miss or hesitation. But soon as pass 2000rpms or so it runs fine. In addition sometimes while under acceleration it feels like the brakes are draging but there not, then it will go back to normal. It just feels like im losing power for a instance. Does this sound like a cam sensor or shaft issue? I have replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, cleaned MAF, im getting code P0401 so i have a DPFE on order from rockauto. Any thoughts?
