I would like to put a selectable locker in the front of my 98 ranger, but am having trouble finding anything that would work. What options are there? So far, shop has found that auburn ECTED and ARB air locker supposedly wont work, due to c-clip axles.
Thanks
Chris

It's not because of the c-clip axles, its because the D35 SLA IFS carrier is slightly narrower than the TTB D35 carrier.

I'm not aware of any selectables for that frontend, although there are a number of drop-in ones available (Powertrax, Aussie, etc).

anyone have any experience with aussie lockers? im looking into one also (rear for me) and aussies are pretty cheap. any reason for that?

thanks 4LO 4.0. so there's one who seems to like it (though it might be too early to really tell), anyone else?

I think the best locker to run in the front since a selectable is not available would be the Powertrax No-slip. I recently drove a Jeep with one and it was the smoothest automatic locker I've ever driven.

well im looking for one for the rear. i just want to know if the no slip is woth the extra $$ over the aussie?

If your rear is a limited slip, the powertrax no-slip is the only option you have without replacing the carrier.

What he said, Im sure it's worth the extra money, I've heard nothing but praise for no-slips!
