Hello I've got kind of a unique situation here. I'm in the process of converting my 2000 4X4 4.0 ranger to a manual transmission. It originally had an automatic. I happen to have a wrecked 1998 4.0 ranger with a manual transmission. I need to swap the computer on the 2000 ranger with the 1998 ranger because the setups on the automatic computers are different from the manuals. And now here's my question. My 2000 ranger has PATS, the 1998 does not have PATS. If I were to keep my old PATS system in my 2000 ranger would the 1998 computer be able to use it. Any help or information is appreciated. Thanks
