no i didnt kill a hooker lol...but something worse... i ahvent gotten a chance to write but last weekend my rangers auto tranny died...i had recently changed the tranny fluid b/c it was shifting hard and after that i added the mercon fluid and some anti-slip liquid too but soon after it failed...
symptoms:
1. no drive...
2. will work on 1, 2 and revers
3. before fluid change there was a hard thump after braking at every stop
4. and there was a hard shift from 1-2
i have been searching and i think i have the 4r44e... is this correct?
what are my options?
can i rebuild myself or is this the valvebody ting everyone talks about?
