My wipers, four wheel drive switch, dome light, and glove box light only work some of the time. The switch, dome light, and glove box light are on one fuse in the inside panel and the wipers are on another one. The switch, dome light, and glove box light come and go together, but the wipers will work when the others don't. I have not noticed any other problems associated with this issue. When the truck is not running with the ignition switch in the run position everything seems to work all the time. But when it is running they only work some of the time. I have not noticed any other patterns. I have checked for voltage on the inside panel when the 4x4 switch and dome light are not working and I have no voltage at that fuse. Guessing this means that there is no problem after the inside panel. Maybe the Generic electronic module? The truck has 170k on it and other than this problem runs good. I'm not much of a mechanic is there something simple I am overlooking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I have a similar problem with my 97 Ranger..
