97 ranger Splash odometer ??

ok so my odometer went out the other day but it still shows speed and rpms and everything... is it just a fuse or do i need to replace whole speedometer??

A blown fuse could be your problem. I can't remember which fuse it is, but it may have been the same fuse as the cigarette lighter or dome light. I just had this same issue on my 2000 XLT. Hope this helps.

it's not a fuse it's your odometer worm gear common problem. it's actually in the tech section for a right up.http://www.therangerstation.com/Magazine/Fall2008/odometer_worm_gear.htm

I just got done fixing mine it's not hard just a little time consuming. I got my new odometer worm gear off ebay. get one thats not ford there made of bad plastic.
