After getting new engine in I found the CMP connector is different from the old one. I need advice on how to correct this problem. I removed unit from the old engine but need to make sure what I'm doing before I go any further. Also, what's the best way to get the bolt that holds the unit in place out while in truck. I haven't been able to get a 10mm wrench on the bolt. Is there a special tool? If you have any pictures that wold be great too!

After much hard work I have gotten the hold down bolt out with a short 10mm wrench. I was able to take the old sensor off the synchronizer then pull it out without any problems. I put the synchronizer back in without the tool on. Then I pull it out just enough to put the tool in place and was able to adjust everything the way it should be. And of cousre I was working from TDC.
