'97 Project

Bought this 2.3L with a broken trans about a year ago and been fixing it up since. "New" junkyard 5-speed, rebuilt the engine, bigger injectors, modded intake, modded exhaust. She's not the fastest for sure, but we'll get there soon enough. Just finished lowering it and widened the wheel base a few days ago. Next step is suspension and then body and paint. I'm definitely open to suggestions on anything. Figured I'd share and pick everyone's brain for inspiration. I don't have a name for her yet, but my buddies started calling it "The Stranger Ranger"

What lowering kit did you go with? I have 3" lowering springs and a DJM flip kit. Next step is C-notch, DJM beams and shackle flip. I have a 96 extended cab.

I just bought a set of 3" leaf spring axle seats and some half inch u bolts and flipped the axle on top of the leaf spring. It rides like shit atm, but I'm replacing the shocks with some aftermarket coilovers to help with that. And as far as the front, nothing but a blowtorch and some patience
