97 explorer 302 gt40p into 99 4.0 stepside ranger

hello, i have a 97 explorer 302 with a manual tranny out of a 90 f150, and an explorer awd transfer case. Im not sure how the wiring is going to work out, does anyone know of any problems i may have? im still looking for a cpu.

I was also wondering how to run a return fuel line since the 99's have a returnless system and the 97's have a return line.

I havent seen any 97 to 99 v8 swaps that use a manual tranny that i could follow and the search tool hasnt been working on my computer.

I'd stay away from the AWD case. They can be problematic if the tires aren't close enough in diameter.

For a manual trans, I'd get an F-150 computer and run a distributor or get the computer re-flashed for a manual. It can be done, it will just take doing.
