hey guys im almost done with my ranger :thefinger: but how am i going to run the fuel line to the carbs with the factory pump or do i need to replace the module and put an external pump the ranger has a 306 scat crank forged pistons, x303 cam, edelbrock intake:dunno:, holly 670 cfm:headbang:, and it has a aod with a huges converter. oohhhh and i have pic coming soon

What you need is a regulator that can bring the pressure down to about 5 psi for your carburetor.

would the stock fuel pump be able to keep up and what about the return line

ok sorry to be so lost but what to do about the shift cable and the aod transmission they shift opposit from each other can i use the stock shift or do i have to go aftermarket i would really like to stay stock

I have everything allready i got it from summitt but thoes little eye lids i got from oreilleys and i figured out the shift cable i got on off a chevy 1500:sad: but ooooohhhhhh well i guess there good for something (parts) hey how do you adjust the tv cable and what driveshaft are you using

There's a video here.

I used the stock driveshaft for my 2.3L,5speed,7.5 rearend. Had to swap the slip yoke on the driveshaft for one without the counter weight which made it a little shorter.
When I swapped to a 8.8 rearend I had on made to fit because theory stock one was to long with an 8.8.
Try what you have if its to long a driveshaft shop can shorten it for you fairly cheap ($40 around here)

Well more bad news i had to take the heads off again to chang the valve springs again :annoyed: cause one of my friends at summit told me i was using the wrong setup for the valve springs and cam. so im waiting om summit amd is going to take another week. man i was so close the only thing it was missing was the starter.
