can anyone tell me where the 4x4 relay is ? and if there is more than one.
is it in the dash behind the ECM ?
thanks the tech pages are a little different than my 97 ranger ranger splash is set up.
i checked the elect shift motor and its good but not getting any power to it.
also checked the 4x4 switch on the dash per the tech pages and it is good, all euses are ok so now i am down to the ECM and relays.
my ecm is beside the radio in the dash but has two connectors on the front side and one on the bottom pluged in and is different than the one shown on the tech pages.I tried the ecm self test but couldnt find the light that blinks.also when i turn the key on the 4x4 light blinks and when i turn the 4x4 switch i dont her the clicking i did before i replaced the clutch and pressure plate.
about to give up and take it to ford.
