Hello, new member, auto tech, I have my heads off of my 97 4.0 ranger, both cracked, putting on new HD heads from Tom Morana Racing, also installing a new comp cam #49-410-8, I understand my pushrods need to be longer but I am not proficient at searching threads and am not finding the info I need to determine for myself what I need. Can anyone simply tell me what lengths are best for intake and exhaust rod lengths? Thank you SO much! I hope I can help in return sometime in this forum, I have 23yrs with ford znd 34 yrs in the trade. Thnx!

Its ok now, got it solved. Getting the new comp cam #410 and am having my rocker shaft pedestals milled down to compensate for the lower base circle on the new cam vrs the old cam and thus avoiding changing pusrod length. Am still getting new pushrods though along with lifters and rockers. New lifters feed oil up into the new tubular pushrods rather than the old solid pushrods, all giving better lube to the rocker pockets and less weight in the valve train. New springs too to provide enough room for the higher valve lift #s. New timing gears, tensioner, cam sensor, w.pump, etc. Can't wait to have it on the road once again and towing my camper and trailer!
