I have a intermediate knock and it happens with a light press of the pedal and while it's in gear. When it's not moving in neutral I can rev it way up fast and slow and it has no knock but if I put it in gear and take off it has knock. I have checked Timing belt all marks are right on, new 02 sensor motor craft, new plugs OEM, octane booster, new air filter, all sensors are Reading good on my live data scan too stft at 2 ltft is at 9 but I haven't found any big air leaks. Do I have a knock sensor.. I cannot find one if so where is it? The timing doesn't move when I hit the block with a pry bar and looking at marks while a timing light is on it.

Crawl under your truck (or walk under if it's lifted high enough) and rock your drive shaft and U-joints to see if you have any movement in them at all...if so, you have a problem behind the transmission...easy enough to fix...but your symptoms don't sound like engine related at all...especially if you can rev it up and down with no knock...

The knock fades away when I push the clutch in while rolling. I have gotten it to do the knock one day in neutral only at 2800 rpm but I can't get it to do it anymore. I really think its coming from the engine. I ohm tested the injectors and there fine. What is the maf voltage suppossed to be at idle when reading it on a scanner? My advanced engine performance book says koeo .2 , to 4.8 at max airflow. At sea level no load idle 850 rpm .7 volts. Mine is a little off and it's a ford so maybe the readings are supposed to be different.
