Hey guys I'm new here and I've got a few questions.
To start off with, I have a 96 ranger 3.0 5 speed with 255k miles. Just before I hit 250k, the odometer quit reading so I put a new cluster in it out of a 98 explorer. My original unit did not have a tach but this one did. Long story short, I went to get my emissions done and turns out the check engine light will not come on. I have switched out two more clusters, so a total of 3, and the one I currently have is out of a 97 Explorer. Still no CEL..
I have found a little information at ( http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/all-ford-techboard/509376-instrument-cluster-diagram.html ) on what wire is what but I'd like to see if anyone else has a wiring schematic for a 96 ranger or a 97 explorer for the instrument cluster.
