96 Ranger Fog Lights = 87-93 Mustang GT Fog Lights?

I am an owner of an 89 Mustang GT. I am thinking of doing fog lights on my 96 Ranger. I damn near bought a valence for it today in fact, but I decided to see what else I need first. Anyway, to my question. These Ranger fog light look just like the ones in my Mustang. Is this correct? Are they the same diameter? If so, these are a lot cheaper from my Mustang catalogs than they are on Ebay and such.

yes they will work the set i got on my 94 was from a foxbody the only problem is on a ranger the mounting bracket is on the top of the foglight and on a foxbody they are on the bottom. but if i can figure it out i know u can good luck

Im trying to find cheap replacement fog lights for my 95. Do these lights have a single stud on the back, and a pig tail wire plug? Ive looked on ebay it will cost me $100 to get some damn foglights.

Yes they do. I don't recall the size though. I'm going to make it work though.

I've been researching and I think I might get these instead of going with plan A of getting the Mustang lights. These are on sale for 10 bucks a piece and a lot cheaper to replace when I break them.

I have seen a lot of questions about mounting the fog lights. Here are the brackets I made. It's 2.5 inch angle iron and it's about 3 inches wide. I used the bottom bolt for the bumper bracket to hold it up and it worked great. Be sure you have a good and sharp 1/2 inch bit handy or it will take forever if you go this route.
