My family members 96 ranger had abs light come on, she took it to shop an they didn't know where test wire was lol, so I went and did it, 12 blinks(low hydro fluid), I checked resistors and diode all good, replaced rear sensor anyway since it had been a few years. I figured it was the m/c float sensor(guessing) not wanting to waste money on wrong repair she took it back to shop an they said it was in fact m/c and they replaced. Next day abs light comes back on. What do you think? She says brakes feel spongy now, maybe they didn't bleed them good? Thanks for any help

Take a look into the connector for the fluid level sensor. It's pretty common for the female terminals to corrode or break inside and not make good contact with the pins on the sensor.
There is a repair connector available from Ford part # WPT-1001.

I cleaned up the connector and light is off. Thanks
