My a/c will not work. I have checked the fuse, it is charged, and the compressor will cycle on and off, but it will still blow hot air. Anybody have any insight on what it could be?

my guess too. Feel the a/c lines, one should be hot and one should be cold. If that is the case try vice-gripping the heater hose going into the firewall. If the a/c rocks then you'll know its the blend door.

Agree with both above. If it isn't the blend door, check the a/c with a manifold gauge set so you can observe both the high and low pressure.

My 97 has a blockage somewhere (assuming the orifice tube) I have normal pressure on the low side, but insanely high 350+ on the high side for a 75 degree day and no cooling whatsoever. compressor cycles frequently. so it is looking like I will get the fun job of redoing the system, I figure a chunk of o ring or hose lodged itself in the orifice tube.

If I ever get some time, I am going to redo the entire system...

Yours could be the condenser- if the low side is normal it usually isn't blocked- should be really low or even a vacuum if it was blocked. Try running a water hose into the condenser and see what the gauges do. If it drops down and starts cooling, check ur clutch fan.
