Thanks for clicking,

Lately my truck has not been cranking but instead turns over, rough idles for 3 seconds and turns off. I've figure out as much as my fuel pump isn't making the normal pressure sound and it isn't over 2 years old. If I keep turning the switch on/off I can finally get the fuel pump to kick on and the truck will start andidle at 2k for a bit then normalize and drive normally.

TL;DR - My truck's fuel pump SOMETIMES won't kick on during normal start ups.

Either loose wiring at the pump, key, or relay. Or the pump is old and crusty.

Cranked 2nd try this morning, Should also mention I have a viper alarm installed w/ remote start that is about 2 years old, I know this alarm system has a fuel cut-off switch so that people can't steal my truck, possibly that system could be bad?

Will look around some more this weekend when I can rip it apart.

Unhooked my Viper alarm module today and the fuel pump turns over and truck cranks with 0 problems, Now I just need to figure out if its a bad wire in my alarm system or if my module has gone bad...any Viper alarm experts out there? it's the remote start kind.

Yeah that little tid bit about the alarm system could have been useful information before hand LOL!

Glad you figure it out though on your own any way. Some folks are to lazy to try and sit here impatiently waiting for a response with their next list of things to check.

I would check the wiring to and from the module. If its good I would call the alarm module bad.
