Lookin good.. How did you bring the front fenders in? did you heat and bend over the wheel well?

looks like he just cut em and tacked em in the picture of the side

I made specific placed cuts int he sheet metal to allow me to bend it without folding the fender. If I remember I will take a pic and post where the slit were made.

I removed the section of the inner fender between the red lines. I made a line with marker on the outside of the fender where I wanted the bend to be. On the inside I measured 1/2" to either side of the line and removed that section.

I made cuts where the red lines are. On the top I had to v-notch the fender and same on the bottom and in the middle was just a slit.

I was able to carefully bend the fender inward. My drivers side came out pretty well but the pass side is pretty rusty on the bottom so it didn't bend as easyily as it wanted to pull and distort due to the fender being weaker from the rust.

The "crease" in the bend is a black marker line I drew down the fender to mark the spot. Like I stated before the shadows and stuff make it look alot worse.

It looks really good. Thanks for the info, i was throwing around the idea of tryin that on my old fullsize but never made it that far before it got sold.

Got more done tonight, just about finished under the hood. Need to get a taurus fan, lower radiator hose and fill the fluids and I think I can fire it. Got most everything mounted under the hood and the battery tray built.

Also got my seat pulled back out so I can install my patch panel on my floor.

List is getting shorter Trying to get it wheelable (not done) for Jan 2nd at Rocks/Valleys.

Right now I need to
1. Fill the fluids (all of them)
2. Patch my cab floor
3. Finish running elec
4. Cut my hood
5. Build my bed cage
6. Build my bumpers
7. Buy a door
8. Build drive shafts
9. Test run in the yard and hope for the best.

Yes! It's alive BWHAHAHAHAHA! So I'm excited to see this thing on the trails.

that thing sounds awesome, if you dont mind the noise id just stright pipe it. its cheap and easy. or weld up a couple cherry bombs. there 20$ here at pepboys

No its needs to be quiet. Its a trail rig not a mudder. I need to be able to here my spotter and cb chatter. And we easily spend hours on the trail and the constant loudness would get annoying.

Stupid gas tank has a hole in it, have to pick one up tomorrow.

Well got it full of fluids and ran it to open the t-stat. Made a front driveshaft and installed. Tried to start on the bed cage, but I can't get the bends I need for the behind the cab hoop. Seeking alternate methods of getting the hoop bent for me. Got my cab floor section repaired.

Need to figure out the exhaust, the two pipes off the y pipe are really close together and need to figure out how to put mufflers on it, needs to be quiet.

But went into the garage today and found that I had a pinhole in the gas tank. When I got the f250 the rear tank was empty, but it looked to be in really good shape other wise. Guess now I know why it was empty.

Think an OEM style muffler would keep it quiet?
