I've been needing to get this thing hooked up near a month and can't seem to locate it anywhere.
I pulled the coil and looked under there, pulled the throttle cable cover, pulled the AC compressor out of the way, dang

I think (on my 98 OHV) its on the drivers side of the block near the exhaust manifold IIRC. I looked into it years ago and have a spare in the garage since mine was acting up a while back. I believe it's easiest to go through the wheel well to get to it. I'll try to get a look this weekend if I get a chance.

Yes, the oil pressure sending unit (switch) is on the driver's side of the block. On my SOHC it's behind the power steering pump and A/C compressor. I assume the OHV engine is roughly the same.

Thanks Blue, I've already put it back together for now but there will be a next time

That's gotta be it G8, and it's the most congested area too. I'll need to tear a good bit of it back down to get to it

Try looking in through the drivers side wheel well.

Thanks Sno. I had it tore plum down when I disconnected it, and when I got it all back together there was one wire left :D
Soon as I started it up the "check gauge" light came on, looked at the gauges and the oil pressure wasn't working so I knew right off what it went to but by that time just couldn't see it anywhere
I found one thing today that pointed in that area, even took the AC compressor loose and out of the way but there's still so many wires and vacuum lines etc in that area it's like a maze
I need to pull a tire anyway might as well make it that one
